Rules / Information

Thank you for playing in the 6^th annual Monday Night Scramble League.  Our goal this year is to assure each team of having an enjoyable Monday night in this year’s league. 

Format:  Match Play playing a 2-Man scramble for league play.  Your team may improve your lies by one club length but must stay in the same cut of grass. 

Cost:   League fee is $ 150 per team.  Please remit this fee with your entry form.

Check-In Procedure:  Due to the number of players from this league and other leagues, we ask that you pay your green fees & cart fees at the TURN. Check in by your league name. We encourage you to ride, but it is not required. If you are riding, we will stage carts along the northwest side of the clubhouse with keys in them.

Match Play/Scoring:  Match play format is a hole by hole scoring system and we will be using handicaps.  (Example:  If team A has a 5 for a handicap and team B has an 8, then team A will give team B 3 shots on the 3 hardest handicapped holes.  If team B then wins more holes than team A team B will receive 2 points for the win and team A will receive 0 point for the loss, if team A & B tie for the most holes won, then each team will receive 1 point. Dots will be placed on the scorecard indicating which holes a team will get a shot.  If the handicaps are the same, then no shots are indicated and teams will play straight up.   Accumulated point system will be used for the first 8 weeks to determine the places.  Payback will be for the top 4 teams in each division.

Certificates:  All money won will be put on account under your team name.  You may use this money for pro shop purchases, no green fees or cart fees.  It is up to the team captain as to how the money will be distributed.

Flag Prizes: There will be 4 weekly flag prizes worth $ 10 each, 2 for each division.  When you sign a flag prize, sign your team name. 

Starting Times:  Shotgun start at 5:30 p.m.  We will alternate the 9 holes each week. 

League payback breakdown:  Based on 32 teams

100% of entry fees will be used towards pre-season kickoff meal, preseason tournament, weekly flag prizes winners, 1^st half team winners, 2^nd half team winners and a year end fun night with dinner

Preseason meal:                       $ 250

Preseason Tournament:             $ 360

Flag Prizes weekly:                   $ 1,120

1^st Half season team winners:   $ 1,360 (1^st : $ 130, 2^nd: $ 100, 3^rd: $ 65, 4^th: $ 45)

2^nd Half season team winners:  $ 1,360 (1^st : $ 130, 2^nd: $ 100, 3^rd: $ 65, 4^th: $ 45)

Year End Fun Night & Dinner:  $ 350

Hole Stating Assignments:    We will post on the website and in the clubhouse on a table in the lounge with scorecards for each match.
